Gents,
Well, the season is nearly upon us - god its been a long pre-season even though we had the Euro's to keep us entertained, and entertain us they did with Spain worthy winners imo
Anyway, onto more important business and the new Ryman North campaign. I must say I'm delighted to have the Edgware boys on board, I think the management and squad will really lift things, and the fans too that will follow from the Edgware days should, I hope, mean we get over 100 through the gate. Woo hoo you may think, but considering we were getting 50-60 last year, this will be a significant improvement. The fact that we will be more competitive and there are more local games in this league should mean we tip over 100 most weeks.
Here's my hopes anyway -
League - We get into the play-offs at least Cups - Love to see us get to at least the 3rd Qual round of FA Cup. I think we've a realistic chance of beating Romford/Biggleswade at Home in the Prel, then Brackley in the 1st. Trophy - Dulwich at Home - winnable I think but tough.
I wanna see progress, I reckon we may have a slowish start but I reckon we'll get stronger as we gell and see our best 11 out week in week out. I think you Edgware boys will love the friendly nature of the club and our facilities are excellent - a great pitch and tidy little ground. Really nice clubhouse and E10 club facilities.
What about you boys - what are your hopes for the new season?

Win the league and gain promotion back to the Premier - Year 2 - win the league and promotion to the Conference.
A good run in the FA Cup and FA Trophy.
That Del stays fit.
A date with Kylie Minogue.

Just wanted to introduce myself.
I grew up in Edgware and now live in Washington, DC, and supported Edgware Town from afar.
I was saddened by ETFC's demise but notice a number of familiar faces on the Leyton FC list.
Since ETFC are gone I thought I'd keep an eye on Del & Steve's new team - I wish everyone the best. Del & Steve have the knack of getting the most out of their personnel resources so I don't think Leyton FC will be disappointed.
Maybe if I can get over during the season I'll go to a match - it happened twice last season with Edgware, so you never know. I usually stay with my sister in Woodford Green - so it's not far.
k.
